Automatic renewal. Your subscription will continue for the initial term. We will notify you ahead of time when it is coming up for renewal and what the applicable rate will be. And we will give you the opportunity to respond. Then, unless you tell us not to, we will renew automatically at the end of the initial term for successive renewal terms, billing the renewal fee to the most recent credit or debt card you have provided.
There are several benefits to this automatic renewal program:
As a convenience to you, Weiss Ratings subscribes to a third-party service which may sometimes help us update your credit card information if your credit card provider provides those updates.
First-year refund policy. Your first-year subscription fee is 100% refundable until the last day of your membership.
Renewal-fee refund policy. In subsequent years, you can also receive a refund on your renewal fees at any time. However refunds on your renewal fees will be pro-rated based on the unused portion of your membership. For example, at the time of cancellation, if you have used three months of your membership and have nine months remaining, you will receive a refund representing 75% of your renewal fee.
Lifetime memberships. If you have upgraded or will upgrade to a lifetime membership, the automatic renewal program does not apply to you; as long as you remain a lifetime member, you will never need to pay for a renewal. The fee paid to upgrade to a lifetime membership is 100% refundable in your first year, but it is not refundable afterwards.
Methodology for calculating returns on “buy” rated stocks. Regardless of plus or minus signs associated with any rating, Weiss Stock Ratings of “A” or “B” are defined as “buy” ratings or signals; Weiss Stock Ratings of “C” are defined as “hold” ratings or signals; and Weiss Stock Ratings of “D” or “E” are defined as “sell” ratings or signals.
Weiss Ratings began publishing its stock ratings in late 1999, issuing most of its first “buy” ratings on technology stocks in early 2004. Total returns include price appreciation, dividends and reinvestment of dividends but do not consider taxes or broker fees. This list does not include all stocks meeting the selection criteria, many of which could have produced lower returns. At the same time, the total returns cited above do not include their additional appreciation since August 31, 2020.

Governing law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without giving effect to conflicts of law principles thereof. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Palm Beach County in the State of Florida with respect to any legal proceedings that may arise in connection with the Service or from a dispute as to the interpretation or breach of the terms of service.
Accessing services outside the United States: Weiss Ratings does not represent that materials in the Service are appropriate or available for use in countries outside the United States. If you choose to access the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with foreign and local laws. Software is further subject to United States export controls and may not be downloaded, exported, or reexported into (or to a national or resident of) Cuba, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Iran, or Syria, Sudan, or any other country to which the U.S. has embargoed goods or to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's Table of Deny Orders.
